‘Tis the season for giving

On November 20th, The Blue Mountain Village Foundation announced funding to the following organizations and their programs:

Women’s House Serving Bruce & Grey – Child Witness Program $2,500

Home Horizon – Essential Life Skills Program $2,500

Marsh Street Centre – Marsh Street Rocks Sponsorship program $1,250

Elephant Thoughts – Paddle & Drum Making Carpentry Workshops at Kimbercote Farm $4,750

The Environment Network on behalf of the Collingwood Youth Centre – Youth Business, Youth Futures $5,000

Georgian Triangle Humane Society – Humane Education Program $5,000 for a total of grants amounting to $21,000.

The grant presentation was held on November 20th at the Don Braden Memorial sculpture located in the Blue Mountain Village.

“We are very proud to support these innovative and special community-based programs,” says Andrew Siegwart, president of the Foundation.
“All of our recipients focus on delivering life-changing programs for the future of our local youth and community.”
