An evening with Former Governor General Right Honourable David Johnston

Hospice Georgian Triangle hosted The Right Honourable David Johnston and the Rideau Hall Foundation on March 6th, at New Life Church in Collingwood. He shared his latest book “Trust: Twenty Ways to Build a Better Country” with his gift for story-telling, his warm and caring nature and his generous spirit made for an uplifting and inspiring evening. Hospice Georgian Triangle, a registered charity, provides both professional and trained volunteer care and support to individuals living with life-limiting illness, or in their last stages of living, to their families and to the bereaved at the Campbell House. The Ministry of Health funds only 50 per cent of their costs, and while Hospice Georgian Triangle does not charge a fee for services, its programs are made possible only through generous donations. Consider participating in their annual Hike or Bike for Hospice event this May – see the ad on page 12 for more information. Photos: Dave West Photography | Story: Georgian Life Media Inc.
