Every Girl. Everywhere. Period.
On October 5th, the South Georgian Bay chapter of Days for Girls International hosted a production and assembly workshop at Emmanual Presbyterian Church. Volunteers were trained to sew and assemble kits containing menstrual hygiene supplies. At least 500 million women and girls around the world lack access to adequate resources for menstruation. Days for Girls is changing the status quo, through menstrual care solutions, health education, and income-generation opportunities. In less than 10 years, they’ve reached one million women and girls in 120+ countries on 6 continents. On December 1st, Days for Girls will have a booth at the Creemore Christmas Craft Show.
