The Meaford Knights hockey team dedicated their charity game to Autism Awareness, with all proceeds donated to Community Living Meaford and Events for Life who both support and provide programs for adults with special needs. On January 23rd, at the Meaford & St. Vincent Community Centre, the Knights wore special event jerseys that were auctioned off. The arena was filled with family-friendly activities: beer garden, raffle prizes, bake sale, chuck-a-puck games, and shoot-outs during the intermission. The final score was 3-1 for the Knights over the Bradford Bulls. But, we’re all winners in this game of life! Photos/Story by Marissa Dolotallas.
