A real page turner
Rina Barone and Chris Dunk love books and art. The grand opening of Simcoe Street Books, at 65 Simcoe Street in Collingwood, occured on November 17th. Mayor Sandra Cooper and Ken Templeman assisted with the ribbon cutting. Authors in attendance gave readings from their books in the theatre. Artist Bill Franks was showing his paintings, inspired by his mentor A.Y. Jackson, and kids made dragon-head crafts. Rina and Chris also own Curiosity House Books, Gallery and Publishing in Creemore.
