Scaling The Beast

Shriner’s Hospitals for Children – Canada patients Jeffrey, 19, born with one foot and one hand, and Marc-Étienne, 20, born with one leg shorter than the other, took part in The Spartan Races at Highlands Nordic in Duntroon on September 8th. Nearly 1400 racers took part in scaling the array of challenging obstacles. The team with Jeffery and Marc-Etienne completed the challenging race in just under five hours. Both patients are raising funds to benefit Shriner’s Hospital, a national pediatric hospital specializing in orthopaedic and neuromuscular disorders. Photos/Story: Bryan Davies Photography
