Tails of the Mountain Dog Festival was a one-day outdoor event on The Farmer’s House Vacation Rental 100 acre property in the Grey Highlands. The first festival took place in 2019, and with its success, it was to become an annual event. After 2020’s cancellation, we were more determined than ever to hold a safe and fun festival in 2021. The August 7th event was a huge success and brought families and their dogs from all over Southern Ontario. It featured almost 60 vendors, an off-leash play zone, free lure coursing, agility show, games for kids and dogs, scenic walking trails, and delicious local food. The attendance numbers were double from the 2019 event, and plans for 2022 are already underway. This year’s festival raised $2,893 for the Georgian Triangle Humane Society. Every dollar makes a difference in changing the lives of pets and people in our community.
