The Home Horizon and The Barbara Weider House annual Bowls for Beds fundraiser is a two-part event this year with bowls from young artists, and one of a kind hand painted bowls by local professional artists. This year’s event is twelve years in the making and stronger than ever bringing together art and education to raise awareness about youth homelessness in our community.

Kids Bowls – Local elementary school children have been busy painting bowls and learning about homelessness in our community. With a minimum donation of $50 you will receive a beautiful bowl painted by one of these amazing students and a Pom Pom’s voucher for a free scoop of ice cream. Bowls will be available to purchase online or by email May 12 – June 12, and can be picked up in person on June 12th 10am-2pm at The Curly Willow Restaurant, in Collingwood (or delivery can be arranged). Head to homehorizon.ca/buyabowl to get yours!

Artists Bowls – 24 one-of-a-kind bowls, hand-painted by local artists will be available by auction on Instagram on June 7th. Bids will start at $125 and will close on Friday, June 11th. Follow Home Horizon on Instagram @home.horizon to participate and view the talent of some amazing local artists who have each hand painted their own signature bowl.

Fund Development Manager, Deb Piggott would like to thank lead sponsor C.F. Crozier & Associates, supporting sponsors, schools, young artists, and local professional artists. Follow Home Horizons on Instagram @home.horizon for the upcoming local artist auction.
