It was a wonderful afternoon of sipping, sampling and shopping at Sterlings Fine Foods in Thornbury for the Make a Ripple Market supporting The Touch of Taryn Foundation. Local suppliers like Chef Patricks Gourmet Foods and Side Launch Brewing Company were on hand for product sampling. $1500 was raised, and over $600 was collected for the Beaver Valley Outreach Christmas Hamper collection. The Hill family created the Touch of Taryn Foundation to honour the life and memory of Taryn Hill in a way that commemorates her enthusiasm for life and her passion for helping others. The Touch of Taryn Foundation aims to support Grey Bruce and Simcoe County by ensuring that citizens within our communities have the resources to impact their lives positively. By working with like-minded organizations and local charities, they ensure that necessary resources are at everyone’s finger tips. For more information, please visit www.touchoftaryn.ca.
